About Us

The Beginning

In 2020, I began studying to become a SANE nurse after temporarily losing my job due to Covid-19. After almost two years of intensive study, I walked away after realizing it wasn’t my true calling. Midway through the program, I found my Herbalism mentor and they say the rest is history. I started this journey because it combines everything I love studying. I am still incredibly passionate about medicine, but I desire to approach it from a more holistic standpoint.

 I believe that herbs can be used in combination with Western medicine. I love to take my immunity boosting tea AND Dayquil, one does not negate the other. I enjoy taking my migraine tincture AND rizatriptan. I can have both, shouldn’t you? Herbalism and Western medicine can be friends they are not mortal enemies. Scurlock’s Apothecary is also the culmination of my spiritual path AND my desire to be a healer and that is why I say that my apothecary is where the mundane (holistic) and the metaphysical (magical) meet. I firmly believe that herbal medicine AND herbal magic (they are one in the same) should be accessible to everyone. I’m here to serve as your entry point. I am a witch; I am a healer and more importantly, I’m honored to serve you as we begin this journey together.

Shipping Times, a note

  I work as a Flight Attendant for my main job, and when I am not flying, I am a Rape Victim Advocate for Tarrant County. Furthermore, I am a one-woman operation. I would ask that you give me up to two weeks to get your products out to you.  I will do my best of course to get things shipped out as fast as possible, but aviation is unpredictable.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.
